At ABOVE BOARD®, we aim to deliver your order quickly, safely, and sustainably. This policy explains how we handle shipping and delivery for our chopping boards and related products.
Delivery Locations
We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom.
International shipping may be available on request – please contact us at info@theaboveboard.co.uk for more details.
Processing Times
Orders are normally processed and dispatched within 2–3 working days of purchase.
Orders placed after 12pm, at weekends, or on UK public holidays will be processed the next working day.
Shipping Methods & Costs
Standard Delivery (UK Mainland): 3–5 working days.
Express Delivery (UK Mainland): 1–2 working days (if available).
Delivery charges are displayed at checkout and calculated based on order size, weight, and location.
Free shipping may be offered on orders over a certain value (when advertised).
Order Tracking
Once dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details (where available).
Please allow 24 hours for tracking updates to appear.
Delivery Issues
If you are not available at the time of delivery, our courier may leave your parcel in a safe place or attempt redelivery.
If a delivery is delayed due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. courier delays, adverse weather), we will keep you informed.
Please check your delivery address carefully when ordering – we cannot be held responsible for parcels sent to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
Damaged or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please contact us at info@theaboveboard.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery.
We may request photos of the damage for investigation.
Replacement or refund options will be arranged in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Environmentally Responsible Delivery
Wherever possible, we use packaging that is plastic-free, recyclable, or compostable.
We aim to work with delivery partners who share our commitment to reducing carbon emissions.
